Thanks HGTV...........Remnants

On a recent home improvement show, it was recommended that consumers inquire about "remnants" to get better pricing..........

Mrs./Mr. Homeowner,

A "remnant" is considered to be a small leftover that MIGHT be suitable for a small vanity or furniture top. Remnants WILL NOT work for most typical kitchen layouts. Please realize that it takes the same amount of labor to produce a piece from a "remnant" as is does from virgin stock. Additionally, labor (fabrication and (http://maplered.com) installation) is the largest component of any natural Stone (http://g603.net) (or quartz) project.

You might be able to save a small amount of money on your project by using remnants for vanities and (http://maplered.com) other small pieces. One advantage (other than pricing) could be that the range of Colors (http://www.g640.net) available will be far greater for these remnant pieces. You might get a truly unique piece of Stone (http://g603.net) for that "special" area. But please don't insult your fabricator by asking if "remnants" are available to fit your 85 square foot kitchen (that's 2+ Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) !!)

Thanks for reading and (http://maplered.com) happy shopping!
